2Books and a Song

I want to make this Medium post brief and short, because what I really want to share with you is the video of my 2Books and a Song performance that took place at the historic Caffe Lena this past weekend. I was joined by my talented friend Connelly Akstens, who wrote several original songs to accompany my reading, storytelling, and life reflection.

During the 75 minute show I read from three books (yes, the show was called 2Books and a Song), but I couldn’t resist adding a third book.

• Missing Persons published in 2015
• 2040: A Fable published in 2021
• A New Way to Wealth: Doing More with Less due out in March of 2022

I wanted to quickly thank Caffe Lena’s, as my friend Connelly called it, “The Fenway Park of folk music.” Of course a big thank you to Connelly and her talents, I also wanted to thank the staff at Lena’s and the organization Sustainable Saratoga for co-presenting the event.
